Fusion Chief Operating Officer
Fusion Health, a leading provider of clinical technology solutions for corrections departments, psychiatric hospitals, and other complex, movement-restricted patient communities, today announced the appointment of Akanksha Karwar as Chief Operating Officer (COO). She brings over 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry and a proven track record of delivering transformative operational and technological solutions that drive expansion and innovation.

Operational and Strategic Expertise
Before joining Fusion Health, Karwar served as Chief Operating Officer at Aidin, a New York-based healthcare technology company focused on developing solutions to improve care transitions between hospitals and post-acute care facilities. There, she played a pivotal role in optimizing company operations, developing customer-centric product solutions, and expanding revenue channels—notably, Karwar tripled Aidin’s hospital footprint in less than two years, which translated to a 100%+ growth period for the company. Prior to that, she led numerous successful initiatives at multimillion- and multibillion-dollar healthcare organizations.

Karwar holds a master’s degree in public health from Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rutgers University.
